What We Do

The organization has been doing its best for the holistic development of the society since 01-07-2005. Now we have more than 10 branches which works under the banner of UNNAYAK SEWA SAMITI. These branches are ---

NAI UMMEED

Started on 15-06-2013 in kouhakunda village and operated by integrated child protection scheme (ICPS) under women and child development department, which is registered by youth justice act. The organization is providing all types of facilities to those mentally/physically disabled, homeless and addict childrenwho are connected with the organization. We provide facilities for amentia affected and deaf- mute kids for the rehabilitation. Organization provides to the kid speech therapy, physiotherapy, pragmatic education and journal education including C.G. board syllabus according to their requirements. Children form different districts of Chhattisgarh are getting benefits under the organization. Organization intervenes positively to rehabilitate those children who are isolated from their home and can’t say their parent’s names. Along with all these activities, we provide medicinal care and treatment, entertainment, vocational training, residence, food, education etc. Total 61 mentally/physically disabled, homeless and addict children are getting benefits under the organization. More than 155 children have been benefited yet this time from Nai Ummeed.

UMMEED

Unnayak Sewa samiti is operating special school for rehabilitation of disabled (Amentia, deaf-mute etc.) children as ‘Ummeed’ where 50 students are getting hostel benefit. The organization provides speech therapy, physiotherapy, pragmatic education, journal education including C.G. board syllabus according to their requirements. Students from different districts are getting all these facilities at free of cost. This organization is authorised and granted by directorate of social welfare department (C.G.) and also authorised by education department. Total 62 beneficiaries are getting benefits under the organization and total 307 beneficiaries have been benefitted yet this time from the inception.

MAATRU NILAYAM

Unnayak sewa samiti had started this shelter home on 01-07-2013 near chakradhar nagar. This organization is basically an abandoned receiving agency cum child home from the age of 0 to 06 years for orphan, single parent child, abandoned and surrendered child. The organization provides security, conservation and non-organizational rehabilitation facility to these children according to the guidelines of child welfare organization. We not only take care and conserve of these needy babies, but also provide them family under the abandoned receiving process. The organization provides child to those parents who wish to have a child from our organization under the abandoned receiving process. The beneficiaries get security, food, education, conservation, health and physiotherapy at here. Total 89 children have been given to parents for care under the abandoned receiving process yet this time. Total 14 babies are living here at this time and total 207 children have been benefitted under the organization yet this time.

AASHIYANA

Unnayak sewa samiti is operating ‘Aashiyana’ open shelter home near chakradhar nagar. This organization was started on 14-09-2013 as an open shelter home. This organization is registered with youth justice act and sponsored by integrated child protection scheme (ICPS). We provide short time medical treatment, proper care, food, conservation and residence to those 06 to 18 years boys who are affected from human trafficking, child labour, addict, needy, migrant, disaster affected, isolated or any kind of trouble they are suffering. Total 08 boys are living and getting benefits at here and total 661 boys have been already benefitted yet this time. The organization transferred many boys to another child home, who were addict and orphan or single parent boy. We are also providing education, food, medicines and vocational trainings to these addict and homeless beneficiaries to their holistic development.

NEELACHAL

It is a child home for 50 beneficiaries, which was started on 01-09-2015 under Unnayaksewa samiti. It is situated in Loing road, behind pahad mandir, pandripani, Uraaw para. The organization is registered by youth justice act and sponsored by ICPS. Needy for security and conservation boys are living here. Boys are going to the school for education according to their ages. Organization is providing them various types of facilities like residence, food, medicines, education etc. Total 56 boys are living here at this time and more than 207 boys have been benefitted yet this time from inception. The organization is registered with youth justice act.

SHRI CHAKRADHAR BALIKA GRIH

Unnayak sewa samiti started this branch for 75 needy girls on 03-10-2018 near handi chowk, Durga temple. This organization is registered with youth justice act and sponsored by integrated child protection scheme (ICPS) for security and conservation of needy girls who live at here. Every girl is going to the school for the education according to their ages. Organization is providing them various types of facilities like residence, food, medicines, education etc. This organization is registered with youth justice act where 85 needy girls are living here at this time and more than 730 girls have been benefitted through the rehabilitation facilities yet this time.

ADULTS UMMEED (GHAROUNDA)

Our organization has started a collective home for young disabled people in suryavihar colony under the social welfare department. Mentally/physically disabled youth live here and get all facilities like residence, food, medicines, education, physiotherapy, speech therapy etc. our focus is to make them able for the main stream of the society so that they can survive normally among the society. some are getting vocational trainings at there. This home is lifetime residence for those young mentally/physically disabled youth who really need help to survive.

SAMARTH CUM GHAROUNDA

Our organization has started this branch as Samarth cum gharounda in suryavihar colony for the intellectual and developing disabled people, which is sponsored by national trust, new Delhi. It is being operated in the name of ‘ummeed ki kiran’. The organization provides lifetime residence, food, medicines, education, special education, yoga and vocational trainings for those orphans, abandoned, surrendered, needy, poor and shelter less people who are more than 06 years of age. Total 30 beneficiaries are getting benefits through the organization.

UMMEED (BARAMKELA)

Unnayak sewa samiti is operating this branch in Baramkela which is almost 52 kilometres from the district headquarter. This centre provides special education for the rehabilitation for amentia, deaf-muted infect mentally/physically disabled children. Here is hostel facility for 35 kids. The students take benefits of physiotherapy, speech therapy, yoga, pragmatic education, journal education according to their requirements. Students are getting all benefits free of cost at here. The organization is authorised and granted by directorate of social welfare department. Total 35 beneficiaries are getting benefits at here.

SHRI BALAJI SPECIAL SCHOOL (DHAMTARI)

For the rehabilitation of mentally/physically disabled children, the organization has started a special school for 35 persons in Dhamtari. Here is hostel facility for all children. The organization provides them speech therapy, physiotherapy, yoga, education, special education, food, medicines, security, journal education and pragmatic education etc. The students are getting all facilities free of cost at here. This organization is authorised and granted by the directorate of social welfare department Chhattisgarh. Total 30 students are getting benefits at this time.

NAVJEEVAN (RAIGARH)

Though the organization has been doing interventions for de-addiction programmes since a long time but it is our first initiative in Raigarh, Shakti, and Janjgir dist. we have proper de-addiction centres for addicts. The organization is operating this branch in kouhakunda, near pahaadmandir, which is under social welfare department. Total 15beneficiaries are getting benefits at here. As we know that addiction has become a dangerous disease among society especially among youth generation. This centre helps them for recovery through rehabilitation and proper treatment. We provide them awareness education about addiction, medicines, food, yoga and residence as per their requirements. More than 113 addicts have become addiction free since 2013 yet this time. Most of them was being educated and some of them benefitted with vocational trainings and employments. Apart from this de-addiction centre, the organization organize rally and awareness programmes for de-addiction time to time.

NAVJEEVAN (SHAKTI)

Sewa Samiti has intervened its new initiative in Shakti as a de addiction centre with the same name ‘Navjeevan’. This branch came in existencein 2021 through the help of social welfare department. It is basically a 15 beds de-addiction and rehabilitation centre.

NAVJEEVAN (JANJGIR)

Apart from Navjeevan(Shakti)the organization has another branch in Janjgir district as ‘Navjeevan’, which is a 15 bedsde-addiction and rehabilitation Centre. This project is being granted and recognized by the social welfare department.

NAVJEEVAN (RAIPUR)

Unnayak Sewa Samiti is also running another de-addiction and rehabilitation Centre in capital Raipur for minor and addict children of Raipur dist. It is a 15 beds de-addiction and rehabilitation Centre for those kids who are in the age of 0 to 18 and suffering from disease of addiction.
